AUSTRALIAN C.K.D ASSEMBLED RIGHT HAND DRIVE
1949 - 1970 CHEVROLET
MONDAY JULY 22 - 9:00PM - 10:30PM / Tradewinds Room
Chevrolet historian Carl Kelsen from down under will present Australian C.K.D. Assembled Right Hand Drive Chevrolet from 1949 to 1970. A nice Monday night presentation after the Welcome Party / Corvair Cruise In. What better way to relax on opening night.
Carl's Power Point Presentation will include many rarely seen photos and original sales brochure illustrations of factory export right hand drive Chevrolets. Carl will explain the fascinating story behind these unique Chevrolets and how from 1949 to 1970 General Motors Holden (GMH) assembled right hand drive Chevrolets from Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits that had been exported to Australia.
We owe Carl a heartfelt welcome for coming all the way from Australia and putting on this special Monday Night Presentation.

TUESDAY JULY 23 - 2:00PM - 3:00PM / Kettering Room
This seminar will be about Corvair models, specifically about the various scale models that have in history been or still are available, the kit models and the variety of assembly skills and techniques that can be used to build them, and how such skills translate into the full-size cars in concours, plus other information that is so important as to how it relates to the Corvair hobby.
Please note that this talk may run into the Air'Vair Group meeting, but since it is in the same room and both meetings will be presided over by the same presenter, there may be some overrun. The scheduled start time for the Air'Vair Group will be accordingly approximate and adjusted as needed.
PRESENTATION - YS-014 BARN FIND - BRUCE MOOERS
WEDNESDAY JULY 24 - 2:45PM - 3:45PM / Kettering Room
Come see a PowerPoint presentation documenting a cosmetic and mechanical refresh of Yenko Stinger 014. The YS had been in storage and not driven since 1971. The low mileage and originality makes this Yenko Stinger a true time capsule. Should be fun for those interested to watch.
PRESENTATION - LYNN YENKO - DAUGHTER OF DON YEKNO
WEDNESDAY JULY 24 - 7:00PM - 8:00PM / Oakwood Room
Lynn Yenko is the daughter of legendary muscle car builder and famed sports car road racer Don Yenko.
She will give talk, starting as a young girl, how she helped promote the Yenko Stinger, then advancing to help stripe Yenko Stingers, Yenko Deuces (Novas), and Yenko Camaros. These COPO cars were built in the factory by General Motors, per Don Yenko’s specifications, so they were factory warrantied. Final modifications and applications were applied at the Canonsburg dealership to soup up the engines and stripe the cars for that final Yenko styling and performance known throughout the muscle car world.
Lynn had explored modification of a Camaro in 2012 as a commemorative Yenko and another Camaro in 2014 as The Next Generation Camaro that was high performance utilizing an Edelbroch supercharger, in the legacy of the famous and unique muscle cars her father built and raced. It was through this effort that she intended to keep the heritage of her late father, Don Yenko, alive.
Lynn has made many public appearances at car shows and race tracks in the past, where she continues to promote the Yenko history.
