About.
The DAYTON CORVAIR CLUB founded in 1972 is located in southwest region of Ohio. We are a friendly family oriented club with a passion toward our favorite car, the CORVAIR. We welcome past, present, and future CORVAIR owners, as well as those who are simply curious about these unique vehicles. We welcome CORVAIRS of every degree of restoration or modification, including other vehicles utilizing CORVAIR components. CORVAIR OWNERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED! All are welcome to come to our monthly meeting and annual club activites.
Our Monthly Meeting.
Our monthly meeting is held at Vandalia Justice Center, 245 Bohanan Drive in Vandalia unless stated otherwise in our current newsletter. We sometime hold our meeting at special places and events. Check the current newsletter or the Calendar page for specific location and time. Our monthly newsletter is the DAYTON CORVAIR CHRONICLE.
DIRECTION TO THE MEETING AT THE JUSTICE CENTER IN VANDALIA:
From I-70 and I-75 Interchange go north on I-75. Take the first exit to E. National Road (Rt.40). Go left (west) on Rt.40. Immediately after the first light in town turn right on James Bohanan Drive. The street will curve left (west). The Justice Center is just west of the post office on the north side of the street. The Justice Center is 245 Bohanan Dr. A public parking lot is available south side of the street and some street parking is available. Entry is on the west side of the building. The west side door is locked and If some of the club members are already there they can let you in or may have the door blocked open. Don't worry if you are locked out, the meeting room is all glass and we will see you come to the door.

Our Club Activities.
VAIR AFFAIR:
Our annual Vair Affair is set for October 7, 2023. A low key gathering with our Corvairs and a cookout. Whether you have a Corvair or not, come on out and bring a covered dish to share, your comfortable lawn chair, and enjoy each others company. This is a perfect opportunity to visit us and our Corvairs. Check the Calendar and mark the date. It runs from 11am to 3pm.
MID-OHIO MEET: The next Mid Ohio Meet will be in 2025
Three Ohio Corvair clubs, the Dayton Corvair Club, Corvair Club of Cincinnati, and the Columbus area Mid-Ohio Vair Force Corvair club join together for an all out Corvair car show and cook out.
Each year we rotate with one club hosting the Meet providing awards, activities and a barbecue. It is the Columbus Mid-Ohio Vair Force's turn to host the event.
The date and location is usually in June and at Caesar Creek State Park.
The Vair Force had decided not to host the Mid Ohio Meet in 2024 but wait another year after the Corvair International Convention which is taking place here in Dayton in July 2024.
We'll have to wait and see where and when the Vair Force will want to host the Mid-Ohio Meet for 2025. So check back often for updates.
